2. Legal Notice and Terms – OnlyU Service (www.onlyu.one)

Revision date: June 30, 2025

Publisher & Host: Goweb – 36 rue du Maréchal Foch, 59100 Roubaix

2.1 Operation and confidentiality

OnlyU enables secure transmission of "secrets" (passwords, confidential phrases…) via an encrypted URL.

The sender chooses:

  • immediate destruction after reading,
  • temporary storage with or without a number of readings,
  • or adding to favorites (voluntary storage).

The sender can add a private key (formerly "passphrase"), acting as a secondary password. This key is never stored or transmitted by OnlyU. Its communication to the recipient is under the exclusive responsibility of the sender.

Since June 2025, OnlyU integrates automated analysis by artificial intelligence (AI) to detect manifestly illicit uses (terrorism, child crime, cybercrime, etc.):

  • The analysis is non-human.
  • If content is deemed suspicious, it is blocked, not transmitted, and stored in isolation.
  • The link with the sender is deleted (except regulatory logs).
  • The user is informed immediately.

A "My account" feature allows any user to create a personal space with name, first name, email — provided freely, without verification. This account gives access to history, favorites and sending preferences.

2.2 Terms of use

The user undertakes not to use OnlyU for purposes contrary to the law: hateful, illegal content, incitement to violence, harassment, fraud…

The identifiers entered in the accounts are not verified.

OnlyU reserves the right to block or delete content or an account in case of abuse or use contrary to the Terms of Use.

Fair Use

As part of the Early Adopter offer, as well as any free or promotional version of the OnlyU service, a fair use policy applies.

This policy aims to guarantee the quality, security and availability of the service for all users.

Unreasonable use includes:

  • mass or automated sending of secrets via unauthorized third-party tools or scripts,
  • excessive creation of secrets in a short time, likely to harm platform stability,
  • any attempt to circumvent technical or contractual restrictions (number of views, retention period, use of private keys…),
  • disproportionate solicitation of the platform's technical resources.

OnlyU reserves the right to temporarily limit certain features, suspend an account or terminate access to the Early Adopter offer, in case of manifest non-compliance with this clause, after prior notification to the user except in proven emergency.

2.3 Technical logs

Kept for one (1) year:

  • IP address,
  • Browser used,
  • Access dates and times,
  • Unique technical identifier.

These logs may be transmitted to authorities upon legal request.
